Application / Systems Architect

ITnova is looking for a Application / Systems Architect to support the Maryland Department of State Police. This role will require to work with the Licensing Division as well as the IT Division, to enhance custom applications developed by the Agency. The application requires development of new, improved features and support of existing functionality. This position requires the support of system currently in production while enhancements to it are developed, tested and pushed to production.

In this role, the Application / Systems Architect will be responsible for assisting in the development of requirements specifications for each Sprint and create detailed test cases for each requirement included in a Sprint.

General Experience
8-10 years of experience with SQL Server
8-10 years of experience with C#
5 years of experience with Visual Studio
5 years of experience developing reports using reporting services or Crystal Reports
Specialized Experience
Minimum of 1 year, within the last 3 years, designing responsive web forms and user dashboardsGenear
Minimum of 1 year, within the last 3 years, designing software systems using ASP.NET
Minimum of 1 year, within the last 3 years, using AngularJS and RequireJS (or a framework with similar flexibility, support and knowledge base)
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university; Computer Science, Information Systems Management, and Computer Engineering degrees preferred.

A minimum of 1 year experience with Maryland firearms licensing laws, procedures and systems is strongly preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
