Front Desk Specialist- SUD Department PRIMARY LOCATION:

Bi-monthly SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsibilities:
The Front desk specialist is responsible for managing the daily operations of CIHS Front desk.
The Front Desk specialist ensures operational coordination and communication between the clinical, administrative, and external stakeholders.
The front desk specialist shall be responsible for conforming to the integrity and core values of the program while ensuring front desk services are aligned with the program's Mission statement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Serve clients by greeting and helping them Generate and maintain client records and accounts Welcome clients and visitors in person or on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries.
Utilization of the agency's EHR system for client onboarding Responsible for service claims, billing & producing billing reports Screening and coordination of incoming referrals Updating, tracking, and providing daily update on program census Attending and participating in staff meetings Tracking and management of client insurance and authorization units Ensure completion of client service intake Completion of client concurrent authorizations OTHER DUTIES:
Perform other tasks or assignments which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High school graduate or possession of a state high school equivalence certificate.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED:
Knowledge or experience in Utilization Review/Management Experience with Electronic Health Records Displays cultural sensitivity and demonstrates the ability to form constructive and collaborative working relationships with others from diverse cultural backgrounds Ability to communicate in a culturally inclusive manner and being open to other people's differences Knowledge and commitment to the mission and core values of the program BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
