Relaxed atmosphere MD neuro-Rehab & Wellness Center is a leader in integrative, outpatient rehabilitation for people with neurological disabilities and pain.
We are looking for an energetic, caring, and personable PTA ready to join a wonderful integrated, multi-specialty team.
Our patients range in age from young to older adults and need therapists ready to provide personalized, one to one care to help them get strong and feel great! Mentorship is available for PTAs wishing to advance their orthopedic and/ or neuro-based skills.
A generous yearly CEU grant is also provided.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provides direct treatment to patients according to the plan of care outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Documents patient's progress towards established goals.
Trains patients, family members, and caregivers in carrying out home-exercise programs and may provide instruction in the use and care for orthotic, prosthetic, and other assistive devices, Completes required forms and documents in accordance with state and/or federal regulations.
Acts as an integral part of the therapy team to provide a high standard of care and customer service Qualifications Associate Degree from an APTA accredited program.
Licensed as Physical Therapist Assistant.
Physical Demands & Environment Employee is frequently required to provide hands-on assistance to patients with transfers, ambulation, stretching, strengthening, and ROM exercises.
Employee may be exposed to body fluids, fumes or airborne particles in the normal course of working with patients.
Employer provides PPE for the health and safety of employees and patients.
