VP of Construction & Development Sage Ventures is a full-service vertically integrated residential development and investment firm.
As a collaboratively run corporation, we develop, own, and operate exceptional properties throughout the greater Baltimore/Washington region.
Summary:
The VP of Construction & Development is responsible for the overall management of the construction and development division.
This position reports directly to the CEO.
Job duties include overseeing all aspects of the business, from project management to operational planning, including budgets and forecasts, and staffing.
The VP of Construction & Development must have a strong understanding of the construction industry and be able to manage a team of professionals to achieve success.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the construction and development process, from project planning to completion Manage a team of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other staff Develop and implement budgets and financial plans Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors Manage risk and ensure compliance with all regulations Represent the company to the public and to clients Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field 10
years of experience in the construction industry Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail
